Therapy rooted in connection, understanding, and hope.

Sometimes the hardest struggles are the ones we carry silently. You may appear to be
functioning well on the outside while internally feeling anxious, overwhelmed,
exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that keep repeating in your relationships
and life. Many of the people I work with are deeply caring and reflective individuals
navigating anxiety, attachment trauma, grief, emotional overwhelm, relationship
challenges, life transitions, or a persistent feeling of not being good enough despite
trying so hard to hold everything together.

A collaborative and emotionally attuned approach.

I believe our emotions, behaviours, and reactions make sense when we begin to
understand the experiences beneath them. Often, the ways we learned to protect
ourselves developed in response to painful relationships, unmet emotional needs,
trauma, grief, or difficult life experiences. While those patterns may once have helped
us cope, they can also leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves and others.
My approach to counselling is warm, relational, and collaborative. I strive to create a
space where you feel emotionally safe, accepted without judgment, and supported at
your own pace. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I help clients explore what may
be happening beneath the surface. As we gain a deeper understanding of our needs,
patterns, and emotions, we become better able to communicate them to others,
fostering healthier relationships and a deeper connection with ourselves and others.
I believe each person holds an innate capacity for healing, growth, and change.
Sometimes we simply need a safe place to slow down, make sense of our experiences,
and reconnect with the parts of ourselves that have been carrying so much for so long.

Bringing compassion and clinical training together.

To support this work, I draw from attachment-based, person-centred, trauma-informed,
and emotionally focused approaches. I hold a Master of Counselling and am currently
pursuing registration with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) and
certification through the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
I have completed EMDR training, including the Recent Traumatic Events Protocol (R-
TEP) and Complex Trauma/PTSD training, as well as the EFCT Externship through the
Vancouver Centre for Emotionally Focused Therapy.

I offer secure online counselling for children, youth, adults, and couples throughout
British Columbia and Western Canada.
